I am Daniel, and I am seeking your endorsement to represent Canterbury City South in the upcoming Kent County Council elections.Having lived in Canterbury for over twenty years, I am deeply invested in our community. My family are local business owners, and my mother serves as an NHS nurse, giving me firsthand insight into the challenges faced by small businesses and public sector workers alike. I recently completed my master’s degree in International Conflict Analysis at the University of Kent, and I currently work as a data analyst in the finance sector, helping consumers save money. These analytical and budgeting skills are something I am eager to apply to Kent County Council. Additionally, I am a strong advocate for community sport as my experience as a former National Athlete representing GBR has instilled in me the dedication, resilience, and drive needed to bring positive change to our community.I am running because I am passionate about Canterbury and Kent and believe we need a fresh approach to restore and enhance our local area. In recent years, our community has faced increasing challenges, and I believe my skills and dedication can help turn things around. My priorities include:Economic Growth & Job Creation: A thriving local economy is key to a prosperous future. I will champion policies that support businesses, create jobs, and drive economic development in Canterbury and Kent.Fiscal Responsibility: I believe in a well-planned, measured economic strategy that ensures financial sustainability while delivering high-quality public services.Heritage & Tourism: As someone passionate about history, I will work to promote and preserve Canterbury’s rich cultural heritage, boosting tourism and strengthening our local economy. With a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to our community, I am ready to work tirelessly to improve Canterbury City South. I would be honored to have your support in this election.
