On 1 August 2023, the Lab/Lib Dem council in Canterbury looks set to rubber stamp reopening the Sturry Rd Park & Ride from April 2024 (if not earlier) following the vote at Overview & Scrutiny last night.
Canterbury City Council’s Conservative group voted against because we don't support gambling with taxpayers’ money on a loss-making operation used by fewer than 90 cars per day, when the priority should be investing in front-line services that benefit every resident like emptying your bins and ending the strike!
