Last night we took an important step forward to stopping the boats by voting to progress the Rwanda Bill through Parliament - despite Labour once again voting against it.
That marks over 80 times that Labour have voted to block, delay or weaken our plan to Stop the Boats.
This is a gross betrayal of hard-working Brits who rightly want control of our borders - and who don't want illegal migrants to jump ahead of those who’ve played by the rules.
Sir Keir not only has no plan to stop illegal migration. He’s said he would reverse our Rwanda plan even if it’s working.
He’s said he’ll ‘co-operate’ with the EU, which in practice means taking 100,000 migrants from Europe, with no guarantees that this will Stop the Boats.
And let’s not forget he’s never voted in favour of stricter immigration controls, or for much-needed reforms to our asylum system.
We can’t let Sir Keir surrender our borders to criminal gangs and European bureaucrats.
Our new emergency legislation, combined with the new treaty with Rwanda successfully deals with the Supreme Court objections.
And so once it passes, this government is confident that deportation flights will start soon.
But we can’t let Labour’s lies and equivocations undermine our border security.
If illegal migrants think that a Labour government will let anyone in, then the deterrent impact of our plans will be undermined.
